The hotel has a rich and diverse history along with easy access to the CBD, and major public transport hubs. Our hotel is looking for a friendly and professional Full Time Maintenance Handyperson to join our team.

You’ll be an enthusiastic and approachable person who is motivated to consistently deliver a great customer experience.

As an efficient self starter, you’ll be able to work with limited supervision and have an excellent general trade background. You will assist in undertaking basic room maintenance, repair work and participate in our preventive maintenance program. If you are enthusiastic, motivated and looking for a fast paced hotel that will also provide an excellent training ground for you to develop your skills then this role is for you.

Qualifications

For this vital role, we’re looking for someone who:

  • You'll have at least 2 years of general maintenance and/or repair experience with a good all round knowledge of maintenance procedures

  • Previous experience in all or some of the following - air conditioning, door lock systems, painting, tiling, plumbing, welding, furniture repairs, minor carpentry, swimming pool maintenance and general cleaning.

  • Be an approachable person and have a real passion for providing connecting and seamless service to ensure we provide a memorable guest experience

  • Dynamic, vibrant, confident and professional personality

  • Superior communication skills

  • Detail orientated

  • High standard of personal presentation

  • You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country

As a full time position this role will require you to work a 7 day roster which includes some evenings, weekends and public holidays.
