As Junior Product Manager, Education, you will work closely with the Head of Education Solutions to continually update and improve existing products and develop new products for Elsevier. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your experience in the academic and/or eLearning environment. You will spend time in the market to understand and document customer problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You will be involved through all stages of a product family’s lifecycle across four products. You will work with technical counterparts to define product requirements, and with the marketing team to refine the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. For assigned products, you will be responsible for operationalising the products, and overseeing ongoing product maintenance, releases and edition management, keeping your products fresh, up to date and ahead of the competition.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess:

  • Experience in a Marketingrole or an entry level Product Manager role

  • Ability tocommunicate with customers face to face and enjoy this aspect of your role

  • Experience inworking in a complex, matrix international environment;

  • Excellentcommunication skills, with the drive to see things through to completion

  • Have a truepassion for outcomes
