Your Opportunity

Cargill’s Sydney site is currently looking for an experienced Fitter to manage the repair, servicing and maintaining site Domestic Boxes.

In addition to being a team player and actively contributing to a strong safety culture, you will also be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of all Dom box repairs and keeping repair records.

  • Being committed to achieving a zero harm work environment.

  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Working independently but also contributes to team efforts to achieve company objectives.

  • Participate constructively in daily site meeting and weekly maintenance team meetings.


All about you

In addition to being an experienced Fitter, you are an independent worker with the ability to be self-motivated and proactive.

You will also:

  • Have fitter trade qualification(s).

  • Have competency with welding, stick and mig.

  • Be competent in general fitting procedures such as bearing, pulley, gear and sprocket replacements;

  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills;
