Philips Marketing Manager - APSS in Sydney, Australia
Primary role is to work closely with the Astronomer and SRC ANZ teams to develop & execute the BMC plan for the Pharmacy Channel. Further, to be an intrinsic part of the local SRC marketing team, supporting requirements across the categories.
Deliver the Pharmacy Channel AOP
Work together with the product category Leads and Field Marketing Manager
Work closely with the sales teams to monitor progress towards delivering the BMC plan & visit key customers
Generate business cases when required to launch into new segments or NPD.
Be respectful of local regulations around GBP, social media guidelines, competition laws etc.
Adapt local and regional marketing strategy for specifically for the Pharmacy Channel.
Liaise with the ANZ SRC teams and Astronomer go to market team to translate ANZ strategy from the Field Marketing Manager to the pharmacy channel.
Ensure point of sale marketing and brand opportunities are maximised to drive revenues above AOP.
Develop the Business Market Combination Plan (BMC) & Local Market Activation Plan (LMAP) for the channel.
With the Shopper Marketing team, develop the Local Shopper Activation Plan (LSAP) if deemed required.
Generate sales tools, marketing collateral, share best practice including digital techniques and social media etc., to help the sales team’s credibility and influence with customers and secure product listings.
Manage all aspects of Pharmacy marketing, setting goals, KPI’s and motivating and communicating with stakeholders, external partners and agencies to deliver the business goals.
Work closely with the Astronomer General Manager, SRC Regional Director and Field Marketing Team to translate strategic objectives into a market action plan
Implement key aspects of the marketing strategy in the channel- distribution, promotions, digital and PR.
Manage the A&P and Rebate registers. Control and work within the A&P budget, within Philips guidelines for creative and effectiveness.
Analyse market intelligence data and use the insights to identify opportunities and grow our market share. Use the data to underpin our ambitions.
Be an expert and steward of your channel
Know what is happening at a holistic level in Pharmacy, be an absolute expert. Attend events and meet with institutions that will build your knowledge and overall credibility of the category.
Meet key retailers to understand their challenges and objectives.
Gather your thoughts from these various sources so that you have a well-rounded view of your categories, influence discussions by knowing more than anyone else.
We Are Looking For:
University level qualification with a business/strategic marketing direction.
5 + years of Consumer Marketing experience within the Healthcare industry
Pharmacy Channel experience – highly advantageous
Knowledge or experience within the Sleep & Respiratory Space – advantageous
Demonstrable experience in building business cases, including ground-up new spaces
Hands on experience and knowledge of sales promotions and the logistics thereof
Ability / experience to manage a P&L
Strength of character to work under constraints that can be locally based or come from overseas with limited support.
