STRATEGIC INTENT

The objective of the Digital Sales team is to develop innovative and disruptive marketing strategies to drive new accounts acquisition for Credit Card and Loan products. The Marketing Manager reports into the Senior Marketing Manager – Digital Campaigns & Conversion Channels.

The Marketing Manager will develop and execute innovative strategies to maximise new-to-bank digital sales of Cards and Loans products through Direct Response TV, Above the Line media and Inbound Telemarketing. The manager will define and execute targeted media campaigns that utilize analysis and insights to increase conversion and maximize ROI.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Digital Sales Cards and Loans team.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Support the delivery of Cards and Loans growth targets through targeted media campaigns in direct response channels

  • Manage creative and media agencies end-to-end to develop disruptive ATL campaigns that drive account acquisition and build awareness of Cards and Loans

  • Support the Senior Manager –Digital Campaigns to develop Cards and Loans product positioning, creative platform and key proof points for consistent communication across all digital conversation channels

  • Manage campaign execution requirements for these channels, such as agency briefs, creative development, audience segmentation, ad testing research and reporting

  • Deliver integrated post campaign reviews and analysis to drive optimisations in media mix, channels and budget allocation

  • Ensure consistent, accurate & timely delivery of monthly account and budget management process

  • Monitor results and performance metrics including agency and telesales reporting to ensure performance is in line with forecast

  • Work with the telesales team to develop scripts, objection handlers and implement call listening audits to ensure the conversion of each call is maximized

  • Work with the Sales Manager – Direct to forecast Cards and Loans IBTM sales and assist with capacity planning

  • Manage offer updates and content changes for Cards and Loans on ATL and Telesales

Qualifications

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualified in marketing or related discipline

  • 5+ years in marketing – experience in banking or telecommunications valued

  • Demonstrated experience in, and passion for, digital innovation with proven ability to identify new business opportunities

  • Extensive experience and passion for creative strategy

  • Extensive paid media experience is an absolute requisite; including research, forecasting, planning, execution and performance analysis

  • Effective analysis and decision making capabilities

  • Adapts to change in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills

  • Builds strong relationship with internal and external customers

  • Results driven with a proven track record in delivering a solid ROI
