Job Description:

Scope of Position:

  • Drive performance in one of Brown-Forman’s major retail partners

  • Deliver on target results against an Annual financial measure across multiple brands

  • Facilitate Brown-Forman/Customer engagement across all relevant business functions including category, supply chain, marketing, finance and executive

  • Provide clarity to the Brown-Forman Executive on business performance and future outlook

  • Manage the day to day customer partnership drivers

  • Facilitate Brown-Forman/Customer engagement across all relevant business functions. Ensure key Brown-Forman personnel are meeting with their customer counterparts on a scheduled basis

  • Build & manage customer promotional programs that optimize Brown-Forman financial return and deliver against portfolio priorities

  • Optimise allocation of Brown-Forman resources including trade spend, marketing spend and field resources (merchandising)

  • Facilitate commercially sound joint business plans

  • Prepare business reviews with key customer that gauges the effectiveness of account plans and specifies corrective action where necessary to ensure business objectives are met

  • Manage account within stated investment levels whilst maintaining a creative style & willingness to partner & trial

  • Support finance and supply chain with accurate volume forecasting particularly around fiscal year budgeting

  • Ensure all execution requirements are communicated to the execution teams (field and merchandising) in a timely and efficient manner

  • Work directly with Customer Marketing, Insights & Marketing to deliver cutting edge initiatives & ensure best in class execution to stores.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must Requirements:

  • Demonstrated and stakeholder management capability

  • Tertiary qualified in a business related field

  • 5-8 years of progressive Sales / Account Management experience

  • Negotiation skills

  • Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders

  • FMCG or Liquor experience

  • Ability to ‘think differently’ to unlock profit generating opportunities

  • Ability to manage complexity

  • Experience analyzing data to make commercially sound decisions

  • Strong financial acumen
