SAS is now looking for a National Presales Lead to provide technical leadership and domain expertise for SAS Customer Intelligence solutions. In this role you will be responsible for driving better outcomes for new and existing customers using SAS to improve the return on invest in marketing.

As a National Presales Lead you will be a recognised data-driven marketing expert with demonstrated credibility and ability to position, differentiate and articulate the value of SAS solutions to prospects and customers. This role requires a practical experience and ability to design complex solutions that allow our customers to do smarter marketing.
As a Omni-channel marketing expert understands the market potential to drive opportunities and initiatives across existing and new client accounts to successful achieve new software revenue quota
Proactively engages and builds trusted relationships with customers, partners and sales teams such that they can leverage your solution domain expertise in sales engagements.
Delivers standard, customised and/or strategic, senior‐level software demonstrations and presentations outlining how data and analytics is the fuel that makes direct customer communications smarter and delivers higher return on marketing investment.
Ensures the competency of account teams to support sales opportunities in customer centric-organisations and communicates knowledge to other non‐technical sales functions to empower them to position and support solutions
Technical thought-leader/speaker at events and a meeting moderator / facilitator.
Works closely with the local, regional and global SAS Customer Intelligence community to leverage leading practices
Works with the local Product Marketing Manager, co‐ordinates and executes the launch of new software products.
To be successful in this role you will require:
Expert and proven technical background with experience of designing and architecting complex data-driven digital marketing solutions. As a domain expert fully understand the architecture and inner workings of a data-driven digital marketing eco-system
Deep domain knowledge and subject matter expertise for customer analytics and how data and analytics empowers digital and omni-channel customer journey programs
Ability to conceptualise client needs and translate into specific implementation strategies
Excellent problem solving, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
Eight years of experience in sales, digital, marketing, business partner relationship development, or technical functions within the technology industry (including related products and services)
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, or other quantitative field related to area of assignment
