We are looking for a smart, highly-motivated, results-oriented Online Product Manager to join the team in this endeavor—someone with the willingness to support a wide range of traffic-driving and demand generation initiatives across Amazon-owned and external traffic channels.

The successful candidate will leverage strong quantitative skills, ability to scale across a variety of activities and proficiencies, as well as exhibit strong prioritization techniques, with a keen sense for process improvement and driving efficiencies. The ability to be deeply detail oriented—while keeping senior stakeholders updated on your progress—is critical to success in this position.

This role focuses on the Kindle E-readers product line, sitting within the Amazon Devices group, with opportunity to influence across the broader product family.

Responsibilities:

  • Building campaigns and executing traffic-driving efforts for large scale product and service launches, tracking tasks and dependencies across multiple teams

  • Managing and tracking multi-channel marketing efforts for seasonal and promotional events

  • Supporting the digital products merchandising, product management, and web dev teams on strategic demand generation initiatives as well as ‘rhythm of the business’ initiatives and programs.

  • Analyzing traffic patterns and optimizing channels against direct response and awareness KPIs

  • Creative asset production (in partnership with a dedicated design team)

  • Editing (XML, HTML) and publishing content via CMS

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years demonstrable experience in an online product management, marketing, or merchandising field

  • Experience in writing and copyediting skills

  • Proficiency with Content Management Systems and ability to edit basic HTML and XML

  • Experience with documentation skills and workflow management

  • MS Office, SharePoint

  • Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of communication and social media design, from emails to video.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in online marketing, digital advertising or e-commerce design

  • Photo retouching skills

  • Illustration or info-graphic skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Motion graphics and / or relevant animation experience

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
