As a natural story-telling and gifted PR & Communications professional, our ideal candidate will have ambition, talent and exceptional PR and content writing skills. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively with the Marketing team, across department and build strong relationships with external stakeholders.
To be successful you will bring extensive experience in luxury/ upscale hotel environment, travel, lifestyle or luxury services company, either in-house or in an agency capacity. You will have excellent communication skills, exceptional copy writing skills, and have experience developing and implementing the hotel’s marketing communications plan. Finally, you will be passionate about communication in the social media space, ideally with expertise designing best-in-class written content for Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn.
Ideally, you will have Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or similar. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or similar managerial role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience and previous Public Relations Management. In addition skills and knowledge in the following areas will be highly regarded. Ability to approach situations with analysis, clarity, leadership, and prioritisation. Strong communication skills including the ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on each Hotel, the brand and the Company. Excellent content creation and copywriting skills are essential. Ability to take ownership and lead change, as well as set a positive example through own response to change. And finally excellent project management and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence internal customers, external partners and business leaders to effectively establish strong working relationships that produce solid results.
