In this role, you will be joining a collaborative team of subject matter experts whose purpose is to support our customers beyond devices. The Cardiac and Vascular Group (CVG) provide leading-edge products, therapies and innovative solutions to Medtronic’s partners. The main purpose of this role is to work with the Product Marketing Team and the CRDM Sales Team to implement plans to drive Medtronic’s market share across portfolios, including leading and assisting with product launches. You will be leveraging your solid understanding of the healthcare sector to provide technical support and education internally and externally for Medtronic pacemaker, ICD, and CRT products. Key responsibilities include:
Function as a technical, sales and marketing specialist and be a resource for the field staff.
Plan, execute and measure launches for new products
Manage inventory in cooperation with customer service and inventory control, including:
Working with the Education Manager, develop and implement plans to
Develop and maintain global Medtronic contacts to stay informed of product marketing and launch initiatives
Contribute to Strategic Plans, Market Development Plans, AOP, Business Development, Product Planning, Marketing Communications, Pricing Strategies and Strategic Planning
Provide back up for the Product Marketing Manager
Ensure appropriate local participation in Product Clinicals and Registries in cooperation with the Clinical Department.
Support field staff in key accounts and participate in key account meetings.
Ensure a thorough understanding of, and adherence to, any government or corporate compliance issues.
Skills and Experience:

From a skills and experience perspective, this is what we'd like to see:
At least 2 years sales or marketing experience in the healthcare sector ideally within medical devices or pharmaceuticals
Preferably sales and marketing experience with ICD and related products
Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications along with relevant work experience
Excellent interpersonal / communication skills, including effective negotiation/influencing and presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts
High willingness to learn, seeking continuous improvement in skills, knowledge and techniques
