The Holiday Inn Old Sydney is located in The Historic Rocks district, and adjacent some of the world’s most iconic tourist locations. The hotel has a rich and diverse history along with easy access to the CBD, and major public transport hubs. Our hotel is looking for a friendly and professional Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join the Sales & Marketing team.

As the Sales & Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting all functions of the Sales & Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director and working closely with the Marketing Executive you will have strong interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills. This role would be suited to a candidate who is highly organised, good at multi-tasking, has strong communication skills and able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. You will demonstrate elements of creativity as you will support projects & initiatives to ensure they are executed to a high standard.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a Sales and/or Marketing role or hotel reservations experience. You will have a proactive approach, be a team player and have strong drive results and a proven track record of achievements. You will be competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with strong time management, attention to detail working in a busy, collaborative office environment. Creative design and marketing experience is advantageous and some working knowledge and exposure to Delphi and Opera would be desirable. Ideally, you'll have previous experience in tourism and/or hotels, a great presentation and communication skills.
