Position Title Senior Consultant – Sustainability & Resilience

Job Summary

Reporting to the Workgroup Manager – Impact Assessment and Permitting, you will primarily assist with stakeholder engagement and report writing aspects of multiple concurrent sustainability and resilience projects of varying size and complexity. With an uncompromising commitment to health and safety and client service, you will be an experienced candidate who will be able to multi-task, contribute to and prepare reports independently, carry out workshop facilitation, liaise directly with project partners and clients. Moreover, you may be required to assist in preparing bids. You could be working on:

  • Climate adaptation plans

  • Climate risk assessments

  • City resilience strategies

  • Community resilience plans.

Minimum Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification

  • Approximately 6-10 years relevant sustainability and resilience experience across a number of market sectors

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen

  • Proven results in client relationships and business development skills

  • Effective collaboration, organisation, negotiation and teaming skills

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects and meeting project goals and deliverables in a timely and profitable manner

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; report writing, development of proposals

  • Experience in successfully leading project teams.
