Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

8 years of experience in Life Insurance Business

Analysis

5 years of experience working directly with technical

teams.

B.Tech/M.B.A. from top tier colleges preferred.

Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to

identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer

(buying and selling) needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs

Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and

tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment to manage multiple,

competing priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications :

Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts,

schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees.

High degree of organization and ability to manage

multiple, competing priorities

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and

collaboration skills

Extreme attention to detail and desire to roll up your

sleeves

Proven track record of translating customer needs into

business requirements.

Prior experience in Oracle Insurance Policy

Administration system will be plus.

Prior experience with any Life Insurance Policy Admin

system will be a plus.

Prior experience of Life Insurance, Annuity, and

Group Life Industry is required.

Candidate should have expertise in multiple modules of

insurance and their implementation in the core administration platforms.

Candidate should possess skills to understand the

enterprise architecture and should be able to develop the solution architecture

for the legacy migration or new implementation

Provides leadership to the team in terms of owning the

implementation from functional perspective and guiding the team members

Certifications like FLMI are highly desirable

Preferably should have prior experience in J2EE

technology, SQL Concepts and query tuning.

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
