Amazon Digital Products—the team behind the best-selling Kindle e-reader product line—is currently seeking a high-performing, innovative, experienced, results-oriented marketing professional to help build an in-country merchandising group.

As the Sr. Marketing Manager, you will create, develop, and execute comprehensive, integrated marketing campaigns that balances the competing requirements of multiple products and services across Amazon’s most high profile traffic channels and customer segments. To achieve your goals, you will use your proven leadership skills demonstrating cross-functional leadership through an aggressive schedule of product launches, demand generation initiatives, promotional events, and awareness-generation campaigns. As a creative and editorial bar-raiser, you will advocate for the highest quality customer-facing content at all times, establishing tone, voice, and marketing best-practice through data-driven multi-variant testing, competitive analysis, customer feedback, and truly innovative creative ideation.

Our ideal candidate will have deep experience in consumer marketing and merchandising, demonstrated ability to drive traffic and awareness in both the mobile and online channels, proven ability to build and manage a high-performance team, and a passion for the consumer electronics space. They will be at home working at both the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth), and tactical level (managing campaigns with site merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data, and writing copy). RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive large scale innovation in strategy, tools, and process to improve team bandwidth

  • Author customer experience plan for key promotional events

  • Support go to market activities for all new products

  • Optimize creative and landing pages by driving conversion through focus groups, A/B testing, and purchase flow analysis

  • Partner with product, UX, and engineering development teams to drive innovation in online customer experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Increase positive brand awareness and consideration via innovative ‘zeitgeist’ campaigns

  • Drive large scale innovation in tools and process to improve conversion and bandwidth

  • Optimize creative and landing pages through focus groups, A/B testing, and purchase flow analysis

  • Analyze traffic metrics and customer segmentation data for key performance trends

  • Manage and develop a team of high-performing merchandisers

  • Partner with product and software development teams to drive innovation in merchandising

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in B2C marketing or merchandising (e-commerce)

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Expertise in online, mobile, and email product marketing strategies; proven ability to drive innovate and effective marketing programs that generate results

  • Proven ability to recruit, manage, develop, and retain a high-performing team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

  • Proven track-record in delivering online and email traffic growth

  • Familiarity with and passion for consumer electronics industry

  • Strong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicle
