About the role

The Senior Rewards Specialist supports and provides consultative and advisory services to the business regarding compensation policies and strategies. You will also support all compensation processes and participate in various projects which may include development, administration, coordination and communication of job evaluation processes and compensation surveys process and analysis and data management.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Providing consulting services to HR and lines of business

  • Researching and analysing complex compensation situations

  • Interfacing with the compensation team and HR business partners regarding benchmarking, job families, job surveys, market analysis for a particular business or region, year-end planning and all other compensation projects

  • Partnering with HR business partners and managers regarding the job evaluation process and related matters

  • Participating in the external compensation survey process

  • Responsible for project management of compensation-based ; projects include variable compensation plan design, job evaluation system implementation, market surveys and other analytics

  • Generating and interpreting complex reports from large databases as well as manipulating these databases to manage employee data and competitive compensation information

  • Preparing advanced analytics and modeling for ad hoc data requests

  • Producing compensation proposals and budgets; consolidating and packaging data analysis for leadership and developing business focused recommendations based on the analysis in order to make compensation recommendations to management and leadership

Qualifications

Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related disciplines such as economics, finance or statistics

  • Ideally, 5 - 10 years of relevant professional experience in Remuneration & Benefits within a large global organisation

  • Experience with job evaluation, compensation survey concepts, market pricing and compensation plan/structure design preferred

  • Advanced Excel and/or Access skills

  • Ability to engage clearly and effectively with all stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
