Be Vital in this Role
As the Transport & Trade Compliance Manager at Johnson & Johnson, you will be responsible for managing and continuously developing best in class Transport & Trade Compliance capabilities for J&J ANZ.
This will include engaging with suppliers and key operational/commercial stakeholders to develop and implement best in class operating models; drive continuous improvement in efficiency and, improving the customer experience for our customers in the consumer, pharma and medical devices industries.
You will be the subject matter expert for all local customs and internal J&J stakeholders for international trade and/or trade compliance issues. You will work with regional Trade Compliance teams that will help develop and diversify your experience.
Other areas of focus include:
Lead all cross sector domestic transportation and trade compliance activities including Pharma, Consumer, Medical & Vision Care.
Deliver and execute strategies to monitor and improve on time delivery performance
Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve customer experience
Lead Continuous Improvement Projects ensuring timely execution of the overall program
KPI’s & Suppliers performance management & reporting
Management & resolution of escalations from customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
Interface with planning and operation teams to improve routing and scheduling of deliveries; inventory and distribution replenishment
Be Valued for who you are
You are an experienced field logistics and transportation specialist with exceptionally strong domestic transportation knowledge. Other requirements include:
Minimum of 6 year’s expertise in transportation and logistics in the Australian market
Experience in managing supplier relationships
Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop a solution and execute to the business’ requirements
Strong ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders to shape a desired outcome
Experience using transport routing and scheduling tools or involvement with third parties providing routing and scheduling services
Demonstrated analytical skills
Exposure to LEAN/Process Excellence in previous environment
Tender management experience and knowledge of transportation services and rate structures
Knowledge in customs regulations, including valuation, classification and special trade programs (qualification/broker license not essential)
