The Role

We are looking for a sales professional to drive new sales across our Knowledge Solutions client portfolio across our Tax & Accounting division. Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting division provides information, decision support tools and software applications for tax accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be new business development through working closely with other Business Development Managers across the team to cross-sell solutions to corporate clients, comprised of the top 1000 ASX list companies.

You will achieve these results by proactively engaging with new clients and developing close relationships customers and effectively partnering with colleagues to develop a understanding of client’s business needs in order to provide them with appropriate product solutions mix.

The role would suit an early careers sales professional looking to gain experience in a dynamic global business. You will need to demonstrate business to business sales experience and ideally have experience/qualifications within accounting/or other professional areas, although this is not essential.

You will require a real passion for sales, a personal drive for success and a strong determination to achieve your objectives.

  • Between 1 - 3 years experience in a B2B sales role
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding targets in a telephone based sales
  • Strong account management skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and consultative sales skills
  • Customer centric approach
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities to cross sell solutions
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • A genuine interest in the tax and accounting industry
