About the role

We are currently seeking a Principal Analysis & Improvements professional, who will identify and implement initiatives to achieve functional excellence for finance and leading the identification of value, setting targets, framing opportunities and prioritizing for the Analysis function.


  • Develop and owner for the roadmap for the function and co-ordinate the finance appraisal

  • Benchmarking and analytics to identify opportunities to accelerate delivery of quartile 1 performance

  • Work closely with A&I teams in the regions to identify value drivers for the function, set targets and frame opportunities

  • Run prioritization, tollgate of initiatives for the function

  • Identify value drivers for the function, set targets and frame opportunities

  • Work closely with the Finance and A&I teams to toll gate initiatives for structures, systems, processes, capability and culture into an integrated, prioritized and cohesive plan

  • Perform benchmarking across the function to identify opportunities to close the gap with best in class finance function in relation to cost and performance

  • Based on the prioritization develop the implementation plan to execute projects for the function

  • Capture the benefits based on the implementation of projects

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with strong analytical and process management skills to be able to identify, analyze and implement improvements across a global function.

You will be a strategic thinker with critical analysis skills. You will have effective verbal and written communication skills with the capability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

Knowledge of process improvement methodologies including Lean or Six Sigma is preferred.

A tertiary qualification in business and/or economics is essential along with the flexibility to travel.
