About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Project Manager to join the Arup Melbourne office. This role will see you having responsibility for a nominated portfolio of school capital works projects to oversee progression through the design stage by conducting milestone reviews. You will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of the Indec-Arup Portfolio Management team to deliver best-practice program and portfolio management services to the Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET).
You will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, architecture, project management, business or similar;
Commercial skills to set budgets, monitor costs, progress and forecasts;
Knowledge of, and willingness to develop, core project management skills;
Able to write clear, concise reports and correspondence to convey key messages;
Ability to independently undertake project analysis, and report on results;
Experience in working as part of a team to deliver projects;
Proficient use of Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel (intermediate to advanced level) and Project;
Experience in using web based project management platforms highly desirable.
