Business Unit Coordinator – 12 month contract

We are currently looking for a Business Unit Coordinator to provide administration support to the oncology sales, marketing and medical team across Australia. This is a great opportunity for a driven individual to utilise your blended experience across projects, marketing support, administration and customer service.

The Oncology team is a dynamic group of people who are committed to ensuring that cancer patients receive the AZ life saving medications they need without delay - every day counts for a patient with cancer. We are growing our team, have launched two new products in the last year and aim to launch 5 more products over the next 5 years. We are a busy, dynamic and fun team to work with at AZ.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide executive administrative support, and perform administrative tasks according to set policies and procedures

  • Provide secretarial services to the senior leadership team, coordinating complex meetings and off-site events, diary arrangements and travel in line with AZ policy

  • Co-ordinate, collates and communicate information at the detailed level, possibly of a technical or statistical nature, and assist with reports or analyses, to meet quality standards, and provide data analysis

  • Resolves complex customer queries and issues to meet customer and business requirements which may include some non-typical, sensitive or complex issues

  • Independently manage and direct own work-flow in line with business priorities and provide coaching and mentoring to assigned junior team members if and when required

  • Manage small projects under general guidance ensuring delivery of project outputs according to plan, reviewing and refining plans as necessary

Your skillset should include:

  • Experience working in an administrative role supporting multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to follow organizational systems / processes, whilst identifying opportunities for process improvements

  • Aptitude for new technology, ideally competent in relevant office equipment, software and systems

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills & a team player

  • Understanding of healthcare industry would be advantageous
