An exciting opportunity has become available for a Key Account Manager, Independents to provide a full service to key end customers, developing and implementing strategies and plans for Independent customers on the East Coast. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role, you will be part of our success by:
Management of grocery Independents at a state level as well as sub banners
Delivery of budget objectives & financial management
Execution of business programs
Integrated Business Planning and Business visibility
Customer visibility & performance
Working closely with our field selling team to drive execution of programs
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed as a Key Account Manager, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Have a successful FMCG Sales background (minimum 5 years), with good current knowledge and exposure to the independents business or other major grocery customers.
Excellent Account Management skills alongside solid leadership, strategic vision, planning and execution ability.
Strong negotiating skills and computer literacy are pre-requisites (sufficient proficiency in al MS office applications as well as SAP, BW and Nielsen modules).
Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
This is a very challenging position and works under pressure to deliver objectives in a highly competitive environment. The successful candidate must often handle multiple, changing and conflicting priorities including short-term monthly volume targets and balancing longer term (annual) targets.
