An opportunity exists for candidates in the Central Queensland area to apply for a Parts & Service Sales Representative role. The location of the role is flexible and will require travel to customer sites (3 major customers and up to 20 other customers) in the Central Queensland region.

Job Summary

Reportingto the Sales Manager,the Parts & Service Sales Representative is responsible for identifying aftermarket sales opportunities as well as the development of sales where business opportunities exist, within a defined customer base.

Key performance areas include, but not limited to:

  • Develop sales opportunities for relevant Sandvik product lines, with a focus on aftermarket products and support.

  • Identify aftermarket opportunities and issues and act as liaison with customers from initiation of contact through to completion of transaction.

  • Liaise between customer and Sandvik on aftermarket issues to ensure all matters are settled in a timely manner.

  • Assist customer to identify training opportunities.

  • Ensure accounts are in compliance with terms and conditions of sale.

    Your profile

    We are looking for candidates with a mechanical aptitude (essential) as well as a strong customer service from previous work experience in sales role. You may also have a well-developed understanding of the mining industry (preferred).

    As this role will require travel to various customer mine sites, you will need to be able to work autonomously. We give you the freedom and flexibility to meet our customer’s expectations in line with our business goals.

    We recognise and value your genuine and likeable nature as you will be interacting with our customers’ on a day to day basis. Having a strong customer service focus is key to this role. You also need to have the ability to be flexible with your work hours as your work day will be different from one day to the next.

  • You must hold an unrestricted Australian driver’s license

  • You must be willing and able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Test
