Our Pinnaroo site is seeking an experienced leader to join their team, in the role of Regional Operations Assistant. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this is a busy role in a capacity that would require you to be a hands on leader, with the ability to plan, focus on safety, operational efficiency, people and reliability. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and working with site staff in the efficient and safe execution of site operations;

  • Providing training and supervision to staff and contractors in the key activities such as plant operations activities including DOGS & Stackers, Elevators and Conveyors, Silos and a range of vehicles and equipment;

  • Leading the execution of risk management systems and programs for both EH&S & FSQR and inventory management programs at sites ;

  • Assisting with operational efficiency planning and review including developing rosters, master schedules and planning outturns;

  • Taking an active role with the maintenance & reliability program for the sites;


A natural leader, you bring with you proven supervisory skills and experience. Hands on and willing to roll up your sleeves, you will also bring:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience working in a similar role

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills;

  • An ability to work in a changing work environment focussed on reliability and quality (including working outdoors);

  • An ability to travel to other sites;

  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed to meet customer requirements

  • An ability to administer operational training on Work Instructions (WIs);

  • Confined Space Certificate and First Aid (min L2) will be highly regarded.
