Our team continues to grow and we now have an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Support Officer to become an integral part of our team.

The primary objective of the role is to support the sales team, internal stakeholders, the business and ultimately our customers by providing effective and timely support with quotes, orders, invoicing and operational queries and processes. Includes, admin, customer orders, quotes, invoicing, receiving revenue (quote to cash) and billing.

Key Accountabilities

  • Process customer Purchase Orders via the appropriate form and in SAP. Includes quotes, costs, and third party suppliers.

  • Prepare quotations. Sourcing information from vendors directly, as well as others such as Purchasing, Business Development Managers to calculate mark ups.

  • Track orders through to completion and revenue recognition via the backlog process. Orders range from simple orders to more complex ones which involves Project Management, Solutions, and other areas of the business.

  • Assist with follow up of open orders with suppliers and see through to customer invoicing

  • Process Improvement – active involvement in Sales Operations and Optimisation Projects. Involves assessing current state vs future state and assisting in rolling out new initiatives. Provides advice and feedback.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience working within a similar role (2 – 5 years)

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Specific ICT industry knowledge

  • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems

  • Ability to manage multiple demands of working in a busy and demanding sales environment

  • Customer focus and exceptional customer service skills

  • Good communicator with strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Well organised with a flexible approach to achieving results

  • Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent
