ABOUT THE ROLE

The Salesforce Technical Consultant is responsible for conducting needs assessments, configuring Salesforce and the complex development of Force.com applications, undertake the integration of on and off platform systems, building and maintaining relationships, mentoring and ongoing client support and follow-up.

Typical Day/Week Snapshot

Meet with clients to analyse their individual needs, provide estimates on work and determine the project scope

Conduct analysis of systems and use diagramming tools such as Lucid Charts, Visio and Enterprise Architect to represent business and technical processes

Demonstrate knowledge of technologies such as Web Services, REST, JSON, XML, SQL, HTTP and Apex

Identify clients’ work practices and understand the nature of their businesses to properly define needs and customise solutions using the Force.com platform

Undertake detailed design of integration involving in Salesforce.com web services API and technologies such as Informatica Cloud or Mulesoft.

Work collaboratively with the project management team to determine required resources and create realistic timelines

Solution designs, data models, data migration

Manage and mentor our offshore development and configuration team

Manage the budget of end to end deliveries ensuring client delivery dates are met and costs managed

Maintain an effective client follow-up system to ensure that clients are contacted in regards to project progress and overall satisfaction

Perform and organise ongoing support for customers such as report building, data quality, new integrations Qualifications: Preferred experience:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salesforce.com Advanced Developer certification or the ability and wiliness to obtain it within 6 months

Interest in a client facing, consultative role

Development experience in Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby

Multiple projects across the full software development cycle
