About the business

The OnePMO function has been created to serve the NECA organisation in order to ensure that projects and programs are engaged and delivered consistently across NECA within a common governance model.

About the role

A challenging, 3 month contract opportunity has arisen for talented Business Analyst to focus on defining and documenting the Transition and Transformation framework and underlying processes for NEC nationally. The objective of this engagement is to define and document of the service introduction processes and procedures that make up the Transition and Transformation scope, in collaboration with other NEC teams as well as ensuring integration with any existing approaches, templates and processes already in place.

Reporting to the National Transition Services Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Business Requirements gathering

  • Business process modelling

  • Documentation of processes

  • Work flow diagrams

  • KPI and CSF definition

Skills and experience

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • 5 + years' experience providing hands-on business analysis;

  • Must have demonstrated experience in Transition and Transformation projects as well as defining T&T processes

  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation, measurement and tracking of service introduction processes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient presentation skills across all audience levels;

  • Problem solving skills that facilitate tackling complex ideas and interpreting ideas into conceptual business specifications;

  • Experience holding workshops, facilitating discussions and assisting business stakeholders to anticipate future needs and opportunities;

  • An understanding of user needs and a business outcome approach and can articulate required outcomes

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or similar discipline

  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification

  • MS Access and Excel proficiency

  • Process creation using Visio
