Volvo Group Parts Interpreter in Wacol, Australia

Volvo Group Australia is seeking a customer service orientated Parts Interpreter to join our Governmental Sales team. In the role of Parts Interpreter, you will provide an efficient service to all customers at a competitive price, whilst retaining a commercial business approach and always having the best interest of the company in mind. This position will report to the Assistant Supply Support Manager and is being offered as a 12 month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension).

About the Role:

  • Marketing and sales of parts to customers, ensuring business plan targets and goals are achieved

  • Undertake accounts administration including generation of invoices , purchase orders and credit returns

  • Maintain clean, concise records and files for repair orders and completed invoices.

  • Provide a support service to telephone sales personnel to ensure all incoming customer enquiries are serviced promptly

  • Various parts warehousing tasks, e.g, sorting, ordering, stocktaking

  • Research and identification of suppliers of identified parts with no vendor

  • Deliveries and stock pickups as authorised by direct manager.

About you:

  • Hold an excellent technical mechanical aptitude

  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts gained in a retail or warehousing environment

  • Hold a flexible approach to work commitments to meet customers expectations

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn systems quickly

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills

  • Compliant to Company policies and procedures

  • Ability to prioritise your workload in a supportive team environment.
