Internships are 12 months in tenure and will commence in March 2017The Asia-Pacific L2 AM Support team provides Level 2 Technical Support for customers using the AM software product and related products. The team consists of some Software Support Engineers in Australia and others in Japan. Interaction with other Support teams based worldwide is also necessary to ensure technical support is provided to all customers worldwide in a smooth and efficient manner.Activities include:- Monitor a high number of Incoming queues for PMRs (problem tickets) to be dealt with.- Assign new PMRs to members of the team depending on availability, workload and expertise area.- Monitor queues for SEV 1 PMRs that come in and assign them or notify other dispatchers in other geos- Notify Support Engineers of OneTeam PMRs that come back in Inconing queues to avoid BETU misses- Handle PMRs coming from other non-standard Maximo silos (CCMDB, TSRM,etc.)- Assist with reassigning PMRs to other Support teams in the UK and North America- Additional ad-hoc duties such as managing updates for the online Support Community and blogging release dates for IFIXs etc.Skills/Knowledge Preferred:Team PlayerKnowledge in ExcelStrong attention to detailStrong communication skillsWillingness to learnProblem SolvingDuration: 12 months.Location: Cumberland ForrestTo be eligible to apply:You will be enrolled in a relevant IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering tertiary degree at a University in Australia.Additional Important Information:• Candidates are advised to populate their preferred email ID for the hiring process communication purpose• Candidates are advised to provide a complete Cv which outlines the required requirements(Example: Citizenship/PR status, Current/Latest Weighted Average Mark or Grade Point Average score/ Education Background/Work experiences)• All applicants are required to check their email ID (1) business day after applying online to undergo an IPAT test.
