Job Description

To provide leadership, support and governance on site systems and strategies which ensure;

  • Business planning

  • Engineering standards, support and development

  • Capital program management

  • Plant process control

  • All facets of change management including risk governance

This role will give you the opportunity to deliver stable performance and a basis for ongoing continuous improvement of the Operation. Specifically, this will encompass the delivery of engineering and project works outcomes with an excellent safety record, within agreed budget, schedule and quality parameters.

Working in a proactive business culture and with a supportive management structure, you'll have the chance to promote business excellence through your team and you'll make full use of your broad range of skills in the areas of continuous improvement, technical knowledge and communication.

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience in the fixed plant in a leadership capacity

  • Understanding of project implementation for large-scale, continuous processing plants

  • Understanding of the key elements for achieving best practice outcomes in the area of Engineering Management, Business Improvement, Risk and Planning

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent

  • Proven knowledge of Smelting and Concentrating Plant Process

  • Engineering management experience associated with the resource industry

  • A passion for the development of teams and individual team members through mentoring and coaching
