About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Organisational Change Management Specialist with a strong focus on communications, who will become a key member of our team. This role is going to be offered on a part-time basis for 2 days per week.

Reporting to the OCM & Communications team lead, you will be responsible for supporting communications and change management activities across the Operations & Infrastructure area.

You will be working collaboratively across the Global Technology Function to:

  • Support the development of a communications strategy for Technology Operations & Infrastructure.

  • Plan, develop and execute targeted communications to large stakeholder groups.

  • Effectively communicate change initiatives, to minimise resistance to change and disruption to the business.

  • Work with the Technology teams to ensure stakeholders are fully engaged during change initiatives and the solution is fully embraced and adopted

  • Develop high quality presentations and assist in the delivery of large meetings, events and learning sessions

About you

You will have demonstrated experience and success in a large corporate communications environment, with skills across change management and multiple communication platforms. You are comfortable engaging and managing a wide variety of stakeholders across all levels of an organisation. You will have expertise in producing accurate and compelling content for a wide range of audiences and platforms and be comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

To be successful you will have:

  • At least 3 years relevant post-qualification experience (ideally within an IT function).

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence people, employing appropriate communication styles that reflect the BHP Billiton Code of Business Conduct.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively and build relationships with people at all levels in a diverse and globally dispersed virtual team environment.

  • Exposure/experience in safety ideally in the Mining or the Resources Industry(desirable).

  • Experience with PROSCI or similar OCM methodologies Demonstrated experience in communication of change using ADKAR principles(desirable).
