Accenture Strategy Health and Public Service

As a Health and Public Services Strategy Manager, you would help deliver engagements for clients across the private and public healthcare landscape, and other government agencies at a state and federal level. These engagements include helping clients develop corporate and business strategies, define how digital and IT can enable those strategies define growth and cost reduction initiatives, structure effective business and operating models, and transform their businesses. You would be working in a small highly driven team to bring the best thinking to our clients, expand our market presence and support our ambition to grow the business exponentially over the next 3 years!

Job Description:

  • Plays a significant role in identifying new consulting opportunities with our clients, shaping proposals, and assisting leadership in gaining client agreement/approval to move forward

  • To help provide solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of our clients’ strategic/organizational objectives.

  • Leading a strategy team of 1-4 individuals, with the ability to work in small strategy teams and as part of larger integrated Accenture teams

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset, identify and help harness growth opportunities with new and existing clients

  • Deliver strategy engagements end-to-end; responsible for developing and managing activities and deliverables against plan, contributing and reviewing draft output and providing feedback/coaching to project team members

  • Assesses and manages risks and issues, ultimately ensuring that project objectives are achieved

  • Frequent interaction with middle management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves presenting analysis and recommendations, facilitating workshops, and negotiating or influencing on significant matters

  • Develops strong trust-based relationships with clients

  • Balance traditional consulting with new methods such as Agile and Design Thinking

  • Develop expertise in specific practice specialty areas to increase the breadth and depth of our knowledge base and capabilities in the Healthcare and Public Sectors

  • Providing coaching and mentoring to analysts and consultants, as part of executing projects and in a Career Counsellor capacity

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Healthcare and/or Public Sector

  • Minimum of 2 years of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in one or two of the following:

  • Visioning and Growth StrategiesStrategic cost reduction / zero based cost reduction and spendTechnology strategy (e.g., digital, cloud, artificial intelligence, analytics, robotic process automation, blockchain)Customer strategy (e.g., customer experience, customer journey design)Workforce strategy

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • MBA degree or equivalent

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work independently with guidance from Senior management

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with Strong Financial and Business Acumen

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, workshop facilitation, and strong executive presence

  • Strong Program Management Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in Health and Public Services with preferred industry experience in Health

  • The candidate should have excellent customer facing capabilities, and an established track record for selling & delivering consulting engagements
