Accenture Strategy Health and Public Service
As a Health and Public Services Strategy Senior Manager, you would lead engagements for clients across the private and public healthcare landscape, and other government agencies at a state and federal level. These engagements include helping clients develop corporate and business strategies, define how digital and IT can enable those strateies define growth and cost reduction intiatives, structure effective business and operating models, and transform their businesses. You would be working in a small highly driven team to bring the best thinking to our clients, expand our market presence and support our ambition to grow the business exponentially over the next 3 years!
Plays a significant role in identifying new consulting opportunities with our clients, shaping proposals, and gaining client agreement/approval to move forward
Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of our clients’ strategic/organizational objectives.
Leading a strategy pod or team of 4-10 individuals, with the ability to sit across multiple clients and work collaboratively with other business units in Accenture
Have an entrepreneurial mindset, identify and relentlessly chasing growth opportunities.
Leads strategy and transformation engagements end-to-end; responsible for developing and managing activities and deliverables against plan, reviewing draft output, and providing feedback/coaching to project team members
Assesses and manages risks and issues, ultimately ensuring that project objectives are achieved
Frequent interaction with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves presenting analysis and recommendations, facilitating workshops, and negotiating or influencing on significant matters
Develops and maintains strong trust-based relationships with clients
Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
Balance traditional consulting with new methods such as Agile and Design Thinking
Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.
Develop expertise in specific practice specialty areas to increase the breadth and depth of our knowledge base and capabilities
Elevate our brand and presence in the marketplace (e.g. publication of thought leadership, offering development, recruiting)
Providing coaching and mentoring to analysts and consultants, as part of executing projects and in a Career Counsellor capacity
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Healthcare and/or Public Sector
Minimum of 3 years of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm
Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or two of the following:
Visioning and Growth StrategiesStrategic cost reduction / zero based cost reduction and spendTechnology strategy (e.g., digital, cloud, artificial intelligence, analytics, robotic process automation, blockchain)Customer strategy (e.g., customer experience, customer journey design)Workforce strategy
Professional Skill Requirements:
MBA degree or equivalent
Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work independently and drive your won work activites to an agreed outcome
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with Strong Financial and Business Acumen
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, workshop facilitation, and strong executive presence
Excellent leadership and management skills
