As part of our Government and Health practice, you’ll help our Government and Health clients deepen connections with citizens, consumers and employees by designing and implementing solutions with Apps, Managed Service Platforms, Connected Devices and Embedded Software. Of the major digital technologies, IoT and Mobility has risen to the top in terms of importance to organizations. Most surveyed now consider iot among their top five priorities.

Your key responsibilities would typically include:

  • Responsible for client solution strategy - defining the solution using leading concepts and technologies to provide a differentiated government focused offering in the marketplaces.

  • Providing digital functionality and technology expertise to support design and implementation of key technology platforms such as:

  • Leading IoT technologies, including NFC, RFID, EnOcean technologies and other embedded devices

  • Leading IoT software and solutions, including Riot OS, ThingSquare Mist

  • Understanding of leading IoT protocols, including IETF, REST, XMPP & MQTT in the context of the Government and Health sectors.

  • Driving and supporting new business opportunities, including managing a pipeline of new business opportunities for the iOt and Mobility.

  • Providing functional and technology expertise to support the architecture, design and implementation of standard solutions

  • Managing senior client stakeholder expectations and third party vendors

  • Coordinating within the organisation to interlock with Accenture digital including working with third parties such as creative, digital agencies as well as analytics

  • Interacting with client and Accenture management and senior management levels, providing subject matter expert and solution advisory support along with effort and resourcing estimations for potential / proposed work.

  • Interstate travel may be required

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree

  • 5 years’ experience in citizen and/or customer experience solutions in a Government and/or Health context Industry expertise is a must.

  • 2-3 years’ experience selling (including pre-sales solution architecture and design support) & delivering IoT solutions

  • Experience managing the full delivery lifecycle of large, complex technology solutions

  • Deep experience managing clients, their expectations and translating business issues to outcomes (in the context of client interaction)

  • Any knowledge of Design Thinking and experience with prototyping will be highly regarded but not essential to be successful in this role.
