About the role

The customer relationship management (CRM) team at Avanade designs and implements CRM solutions for our clients. The CRM team actively participates in all phases of CRM projects, from planning and analyzing, to designing, building and testing.

Our Technical CRM Senior Consultants develop solution component architectures to support business processes within or on top of Microsoft Dynamics. You’ll collect detailed user and technical requirements, analyze and translate collected requirements, and program to deliver solutions, upgrades, enhancements and conversions. Throughout implementation, you’ll ensure that identified solutions meet quality standards through KPI identification and testing, in addition to meeting customer expectations.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Design, construct, test, implement and optimize portions of Dynamics CRM to enable and support business and operation functions

  • Monitor performance to identify and help resolve system problems

  • Liaise effectively between customers, IT staff, and business partners to ensure high quality and timely resolution of customer issues

  • Research customer issues that may be non-standard in order to offer solutions

  • Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent, beneficial client interaction and solution delivery

  • Assist in sales activities and planning as required

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to proactively identify potential challenges to customer success and business productivity

  • Travel as needed.

Qualifications

About you

You are a technical CRM subject matter expert excited about working with a global technology leader to solve business-critical problems for some of the top companies in the world. You are a fast learner, self-starter, and creative thinker. You are passionate about software and its potential to move organizations forward through innovation.

Your technical and professional skills may include:

  • Around 4 years of technical consulting experience or as a programmer, with 2 years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Development

  • Understanding of common industry standard business practices supported by CRM

  • Experience with software in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, Microsoft SQL, HTML, Microsoft ASP, Microsoft .Net (web and app), and hands-on experience working on component-based applications in a distributed environment

  • Basic understanding of relational database concepts is preferred

  • Ability to build professional relationships and client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop and manage an action plan

  • Consulting experience working with external clients and globally dispersed teams with a proven track record for delivering great results

  • Microsoft platform knowledge and skills not limited to IIS, MSMQ, SQL Server, ADFS, SharePoint, etc.

  • Full lifecycle experience in architecting large scale scalable applications.

You likely have a degree/diploma in Information Technology or equivalent with around 6-7 years of work experience in project management, system design, or other relevant experience. Preference given for a passed Extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Exam or Microsoft Official Training Course #80295. Security clearance preferred.
