We are seeking engineer(s) passionate and enthusiastic about fire safety across a number of offices and positions. You might be considering your options as an experienced engineer wanting to increase your exposure to a wider range of project types, or want to embark on a career in this specialist field of engineering. Our activities include working in infrastructure and building fire safety, ranging across rail, road, industrial, health, defence and education projects to name a few.
To undertake this role we are seeking to fill you will have:
Enthusiasm for this multi-disciplinary specialist field;
Familiarity with performance based engineering;
Experience in researching literature for engineering application;
Familiar with advanced computer modelling of fluid flow and evacuation;
Excellent ability with computer software skills for analysis and presentation;
Strong writing and data presentation skills as report writing is the key means of communicating our designs;

Minimum of 3 or more years’ experience as a Fire Safety Engineer within a consultancy environment
A relevant engineering qualification, preferable in Fire Engineering or with post-graduate qualification in Fire Engineering
A record of negotiations with approval authorities on performance based designs
A thorough understanding of the BCA and the Australian Standards for fire systems
Experienced in preparing fire engineering documents
A strong background in the use of computer based modelling
Exceptional skills in word processing and spreadsheet use
Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders of the business
