In this role you will be primarily responsible for developing marketing programs and campaigns with DELL EMC Partner Program partners and distributors. The position will work collaboratively with business unit managers, sales leads and key partners, to understand key business objectives and develop effective campaigns that generate qualified prospects to expand channel portfolio growth.
Reporting to Senior Director Marketing, Australia and New Zealand, this position requires a self-starter and results-oriented individual who can quickly and effectively respond to the ever-changing needs of the business. The ideal candidate is a rising marketing professional with a broad understanding of all facets of marketing who is confident liaising with customers, partners, vendors and agencies.
Develop, drive and implement channel marketing plans to support partners and distributors in the DELL EMC Partner Program;
Develop strategic and effective lead generation marketing campaigns in conjunction with A/NZ partners. This will include development of joint value propositions, campaign concepts as well as project management of execution;
Work closely with internal stakeholders to align partner account plans with marketing priorities to develop a comprehensive A/NZ channel GTM strategy. This would include consideration of marketing leadership, territory sales, brand awareness, demand creation and sales enablement;
Work closely with product business units to identify market trends, product analysis and brand development to support channel programs;
Manage channel marketing campaign reporting and quarterly metrics, making necessary program adjustments to improve profitability;
Lead implementation of regional or global partner-related communications and programs in A/NZ and work to adapt and localize where necessary;
Manage Marketing Development Funds (MDF) program including fund allocation, tools and processes for partners;
Manage channel marketing and vendor funding budgets in line with company processes;
Maintain regular interlock with regional channel marketing, channel sales leaders and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated marketing leadership and project management skills
8+ years previous channel marketing experience would be a strong advantage.
Broad experience and understanding of all facets of marketing
Experience managing marketing budgets ideally within a channel marketing setting.
A strong understanding of distribution and indirect sales channels in the IT industry
Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
The ability to manage small teams of people and influence senior staff
