Our Insights & Planning team are an integral part of our Head Office function, they produce facts based consumer, shopper and category insights that help influence our strategic vision. The role of Integrated Commercial Planning Manager leads the company’s integrated insights & commercial planning, partnering closely with both the Sales and Marketing teams to address key strategic and commercial questions relating to customer, brand, category & shopper.

About therole:

Reporting to the Insights, Strategy & Planning Director this exciting opportunity will see you:-

  • Develop& keep up-to-date the category strategies for breakfast & snacks,including growth drivers, portfolio & channel strategy

  • Partner withthe commercial category team to operationalise and support retailer categorystrategy development and thought leadership

  • Lead theintegrated commercial planning process, this involves leading the commercialteams – Sales, Marketing, Insights & Planning from data reviews, workshops,ideation through to prioritisation and alignment

  • Lead a teamof 2 Analysts to deliver regular strategic & deep dive reviews andrecommendation to organisation and leadership team on category, brand andinnovation performance

  • Driveshopper insight agenda to ensure we have strong shopper as well as consumerunderstanding

  • Manageexternal vendor relationships (scan sales, shopper panel and shopper insight)

Skills,experience & attributes sought:

  • Relevanttertiary qualifications

  • Previousexperience in a role that has encompassed strategic planning in either categorymanagement or trade marketing

  • Strongbackground in business analytics – ideally with experience in scanned salesdata & software

  • Excellentcommercial acumen

  • Projectmanagement skills and experience, developing project plans and partnering withsenior leaders and commercial teams to drive outcomes

  • Strongrelationship development skills

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with excellent influencing skills atall levels

  • Staffmanagement experience
