This is a vital role within the Loyalty Solutions team, providing global best practices Travel Implementation and operations support of Loyalty products solutions and services to internal stakeholders and external customers. The role is that of Loyalty Solutions Travel Implementations Specialist. The successful candidate will bring to the role experience in project delivery capability, commercial/business improvement acumen and be able to contribute critical components for complex travel solutions projects to deliver solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction.

In this role the successful candidate will be a key contributor to key projects and coordination of activities focused on key initiatives designed to build and develop Loyalty solutions complex Solution Delivery, ensuring improved operational effectiveness and proficient delivery of services for Mastercard regional and global loyalty and rewards solutions. This role is a critical lead within the Implementation & Operations team. This team is dedicated to delivering global best practices for Loyalty Solutions implementation across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring processes are fully and consistently applied across the Loyalty Solutions I&O team and the divisional Core Products teams, who manage local vendors operating at the individual market level.


Contribute to the delivery of critical elements of key Travel Implementation projects within core programs of work deemed to be high priority for the business:

Providing input to Travel Vendor Platform deployment programs in terms of best practice operating, customer, and market readiness requirements for products, product enhancements and features of existing and new products.

For Travel Vendor Platform deployment programs, implementing and monitoring business processes and standards to ensure a controlled, scalable and sustainable outcomes from an operating perspective.

Ensuring recoverability of essential business functions in the event of business disruption to travel platforms.

Specifically, this role is accountable for :

Leading the implementation of the Switch fly travel platform, and will become a Switch fly Super User for MasterCard.

Driving the roll out of the travel platform for each client within the APAC region, and will work with the broader project team to deliver on these projects.

Support and educate in market I&O Travel Managers on configuration requirements.

Document all configuration procedures and processes.

Maintain all configuration for existing programs in production.

Assist with the set-up and ongoing maintenance of the Program Configuration Manager for all new and existing programs.

Configure Maintain all HTML static page content.

Create and execute test cases for internal user acceptance testing.

Provide support during client acceptance testing.

Technical Aspects of the Role:

To be a Switch fly Super-user €“ a key point of contact to liaise with the vendor

on all tasks related to implementation of a program.

Configure Program Configuration Manager for all new programs

Liaise with Switch fly to ensure all configurations are accurate for all new programs

including but not limited to:

Segmentation set up

Booking fees, credit card fees and margins

Loyalty contracts (points conversion)

Supplier contracts and configuration

Hotel landing pages

Payment types

Configure ticketing

Restriction of supplier content

Configure all static page content

Coordinate testing of the platform with the allocated team, select and

allocate test cases to be run and manage the progress of testing to completion.

Select test cases for client UAT

Triage all testing defects (internal and client) and resolve directly or via

Switch fly or the O&T team

Regression testing of the platform

All About You

Logical approach to tasks, organized and process minded

Good operational knowledge of travel and understanding of travel ecommerce

Proven flexibility agility and flexibility manage the demands of concurrent tasks and changing priorities

Foresight €“ ability to identify issues before they develop into problems and to proactively resolve issues directly or through escalation to appropriate partners/stakeholders.

Solutions-oriented with proven record of outperforming and delivering superior results.

HTML and CSS skills

Good at working and delivering to deadlines

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to identify and manage multiple priority tasks concurrently

Switch fly system experience - preferred by not essential.

Strong technical capability and ability to meet the specific demands of this technology delivery role, including experience supporting the delivery of optimal API Development, UX, Travel Solutions Configuration, Testing and Production Verification.
