With several projects currently being delivered and to position ourselves for future work we require a Cadet Drafter – Civil and a Cadet Drafter – Mechanical, to join our established Adelaide team. You are a team player who can effectively liaise with others while providing accurate and professional drafting services to the business.
You are a proactive communicator with enthusiasm for drafting and a keenness to further develop your skills.
Working under instruction to complete designs as required;
Completing work within negotiated standards of time, cost and quality;
Working within Australian Standards and established industry practices;
Working with other staff in the team to coordinate related activities;
Assisting in all phases of the production of drawings, including plotting, printing, collating, packaging and organising delivery.
Completed or studying towards a Diploma in Engineering Design – Civil or Mechanical (essential);
Demonstrated experience in preparing engineering deliverables from rough sketches (desirable);
Industry experience on civil infrastructure projects (desirable).
Be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week, if you are still studying.
