An opportunity exists within the ANZ Healthcare –Professional Services – Pharmacy Solution segment for an individual that hasstrong technical and administration knowledge within the support of Microsoftwindows based systems. The role isprimarily focused on the deployment and support of the DXC Healthcare -i.Pharmacy application, however the role also includes integration componentsincluding Messaging, Robotic Interfaces, and other third party solutions.

The Professional Services role will be accountableinternally, and externally to our clients, demonstrating highly skilleddeployment methodologies built on personal experience, technical knowledge,skills, accomplishments and passion. The successful applicant will be responsible for the technical analysis,design, scoping, new deployment and upgrading of the i.Pharmacy solution tomultiple clients in the ANZ region. This includes installation of a variety ofDXC solutions in multiple vendor ‘on premise’ environments, and cloudenvironments, SQL Server Database management, and interfaces.


  • Work in accordance with the ITIL framework toimplement and follow quality processes

  • Perform ‘Billable’ Project work to deploy andupgrade the i.Pharmacy solution and other DXC products and or services. ▪Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our customers to fostercollaboration and facilitate growth

  • Possess strong investigative skills, todetermine outcomes from escalated defects. ▪ Escalate site issues (current or potential) to the Project and SupportManager

  • Participate and Provide content forImplementation Planning Studies, and Deployment Workshops, Statements of Work,including documentation for all Project related activities.

  • Develop processes which support clientengagement, improvement and support

  • Take ownership and responsibility of allproject deployment and support work, including analysis and indepth troubleshooting.

  • Working with and providing analysis ofescalated incidents to development teams for resolution.

  • Work within the team to implement strategiesto improve productivity and efficiency to increase deployment speed and clientsatisfaction.

  • Provide technical and/or functional leadershipto the support team.

  • Performing site upgrade and implementationservices of clinical products as and when required.

  • Development of complex database managementtasks and settings, including deployment guides and other documentation.

  • Development of local scripted solutions todata issues.

  • Undertaking performance analysis of currentlydeployed clinical applications.

  • Participate and contribute to team meetings

  • Assisting with the testing of softwarereleased from development as required

  • Contribute to continuous improvement ofprocesses and standards


5 + years’ experience in the following:

  • Supporting clinical applications within ahealth environment

  • Providing functional and/or technical expertisefor healthcare IT systems

  • SQL Server Database Deployment andAdministration experience in highly available environments.

  • Degree in Health Information Management and/orInformation Technology

  • ITILcertification

  • Experience providing application deploymentservices in a technical capacity or equivalent.

  • Project Management experience

  • Understanding or experience with theimplementation of applications

  • Healthcare clinical product knowledge

  • Understanding of applicationinterfacing. Web Service or HL7messaging – applicable but not essential

  • Ability to install, deploy and administer SQLServer databases in multiple environments, including High Availability,Clustered, and Disaster Recovery situations

  • Ability to create and maintain SQL Scriptsdesirable.

  • Data Import and Transformation SQL Services

  • Ability to troubleshoot SQL and Windows Serverissues. ▪ Knowledge of XML data formats.

  • SQL scripting experience for datainterrogation or reporting.

  • Crystal Report designer experience desirable.
