Which is why we need you to join us as Area Director of Human Resources based at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach Sydney . You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills because for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can be a significant senior leader across a portfolio of hotels.

As the human resource business partner, and in alignment with Global and Australasia IHG HR people strategy, you’ll be responsible for delivering the people agenda and HR metrics for Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach and providing leadership and direction to the Hotel HRBP’s across hotels. You’ll drive leadership and organisational capability, systems and processes and relationships within these hotels, ensuring winning becomes a habit through embedding high performance and driving a culture of high quality, process excellence and continuous improvement. Supporting General Managers, Operational leaders and Field HR teams, your team will provide HR services that enable the delivery of business results to meet our performance targets.

To be successful in this role you’ll have demonstrated excellence in these fields at a similar level as well as outstanding internal stakeholder and owner management, understanding of brand delivery and the ability to impact and influence the overall business agenda and execution. You'll bring great knowledge and experience, be forward thinking and inspirational with a warm and approachable manner.


Ideally you'll have a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related discipline, with a minimum of 5 yrs experience in Human Resources Management role and ideally will have worked in a multi-unit capacity within a recognized multi-national organization. A solid understanding of Employee Relations practices and the ability to deal effectively with employees across diverse cultures and build management capability, will spell success in this role.
