We are seeking Associates/ Senior Associates to join our Assurance team to continue to build our analytics capability to support our external financial audits and to help enhance audit quality, relevance and value.

Your key responsibilities
You will deliver results by using data analytics to deal with large, disparate volumes of data to assist your client group gain critical insights. Your ability to identify and extract data from complex IT systems will ensure success in this role. You will also work with the ASX top 50 listed clients and the latest data systems to enjoy a truly rewarding and successful career at EY.
Skills and attributes for success
Help clients to identify and extract required data from complex IT systems including SAP and Oracle
Use analytical and visualisation software to access, transform, integrate, analyse and visualise client data to help solve real problems and identify real opportunities through identification of anomalies and unusual patterns and trends in data
Deliver results by using data analytics to deal with large, disparate volumes of data, to gain critical insights quickly
Assist in developing additional analytics capability within our group
To qualify for the role you must have:
A minimum of 1 plus year experience in an analytics role
A passion for working with data and learning new methodologies, applications and skills for analysis
Experience using tools such as Microsoft SQL and Tableau and/or Spotfire to access, transform, integrate, analyse and visualise client data
Qualification in IT / Business related discipline
Ability to adapt to a constantly changing and growing business environment
Good written and verbal communication skills and work within a team environment.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Worked previously in a reputable accounting firm or company
