Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks

  • Application and process specific solution consulting (for a specific application and/or process area: creation of business blueprint, Implementation based on a blueprint, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support)

  • Support in escalated projects

  • Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews

  • Support of pre-sales activities

  • Taking over responsibility from time to time as a sub project team leader

  • Detailed planning of process implementation

  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements

  • Industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP, OnPremise and Cloud))

  • Develop and Assure quality of process models

  • Demonstrating basic knowledge of modeling standards and tools

  • Drive deployment of SAP Model Companies for specific area of business

Experience & Language Requirements

Functional Experience

  • Several years of experience in application consulting

  • Has experience with minimum of two full cycle implementations

  • Understanding of industry or LoB-specific business processes

  • Understands the Business Process Library approach

  • Knowledge of Model Company approach and Best Practices (where applicable)

  • Expertise in Banking Services with in-depth understanding in the areas of Deposits Management, Loans Management, Master Contract Management

  • Extensive functional understanding of capabilities in Account Originations/ Products/ Pricing/ Account Servicing/ Payments/ Settlement & Cash Flow and End of Day Reporting processes

  • Deep expertise in Financial Services/ Retail Banking/ Business Banking, preferably in Australia

  • Experience with SAP Add-ons; Localisation for Line of Credits, Easy open item management and Cashflow Comparison Tools

  • Excellent knowledge with Enterprise Services

  • Experience with Production support and incident and stakeholder management

  • Extensive knowledge with Core Banking end of day processes

  • Experience with migrated accounts

  • Experience with SAP Core Banking Upgrade

  • Ability to troubleshoot and use tools such as ABAP Debugger

  • Ability to navigate and understand SAP data model/ data dictionary

  • Has experience with SOAPUI, SPROXY and Splunk

  • Multiple implementations of SAP Banking Services required

  • Prior implementation of SAP Banking Services for Australian Bank(s)

Functional: Soft Skills

  • Work within an on/off-site delivery approach

  • Work within an Agile/DevOps methodology and delivery model to drive customer values

  • A business oriented process consultant with a good understanding across all business functions

  • Ability to provide services solutioning support through understanding the customer requirements and producing Scope, Effort and timeline estimates and approach for service delivery

  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change

  • Self-managed professional/ Self Starter who can work autonomously with drive and passion

Managerial Experience

  • Coordinates customer project members

  • English: Fluent

Education

University degree or equivalent work experience

Professional Training & Certification

  • Solution certification

  • SAP Tech Training
