If you are passionate about computer technology and eager to develop a career in technology sales, Dell is the place to be. Within Commercial Sales we are looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to work as part of a team based in Northern Beaches, Sydney.

The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for sales of Dell's products and services to our customers. Working as part of a virtual team, you will be responsible for client liason over the phone and will conduct needs analysis, relay product information, technical specifications and the preparation and distribution of timely and accurate quotations/tenders. The scope of the position includes the development of new Dell users as well as the development and maintenance of existing clients within the account base allocated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve quota targets by selling Dell's range of products and services using outbound calling, consultative and

  • influencing selling techniques.

  • Establish and nurture a strong rapport with Dell's customer base

  • Consults to customers on various project planning and routine systems configuration issues in order to meet their business needs.

  • Introduces Dell Added Services to Account Base through the External Business Development Manager to help

  • increase our penetration into the Account i.e. DellPlus (Customisation of hardware and Software)/Premier Pages (Ecommerce).

  • Acts as the internal representative on behalf of Dell's Relationship clients to ensure customer satisfaction,

  • expectations and requirements are met.

  • Preparation of timely and accurate quotations/orders to meet customer requests

  • Analysis and preparation of sales and customer reports to assist Sales Mgmt in the evaluation of customer's.

  • Keep abreast of technological advances in the PC/IT industry with particular emphasis on competitor products,

  • services and pricing

  • 2 years + previous Account Management and Sales experience within the IT sector
