The Manager of Sales Operations is a cross-functional discipline designed to increase sales results and productivity by providing integrated content, training, coaching and analytical services for salespeople and front-line sales managers. The manager of Sales Operations is responsible for providing reporting and analytical support to leadership and stakeholders across the business.
The Manager of Sales Operations is a global role, based in APAC, where the ideal candidate will be a partner who can support the implementation and execution of MHG’s global sales strategy, reporting through to the Managing Director of Sales Operations based in North America
Manage sales forecasting and planning used within the sales organization.
Pro-actively drive and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts.
Leads planning activities with other functions and stakeholders.
Work to ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion.
Pro-actively identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
Develop and deliver accurate sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
Implement enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams. Monitors the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining sales management to optimize the effectiveness of technology investments.
Work with Sales Leadership to continually define and enhance Sales Key Performance Indicators
Respond to Ad hoc requests from Regional Executives for reporting
Manage the Global Pipeline Review Process, including management and mentoring of resource creating, reporting, and reviewing opportunities
Bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus
5+ years progressive business experience
1-3 years of experience in sales operations or similar analytic and business partner support experience
1-2 years of experience using Salesforce.com, or ability to quickly learn the needed skills
International experience preferred
Analytical mind and approach to solving problems
Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to multi-task and shift priorities while maintaining control with limited supervision
Collaborative, outgoing individual that enjoys assisting others and puts in extra effort to find solutions that may span outside their daily responsibilities
Relationship development and ability to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members.
Strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to pay attention to details and adhere to fast paced time-lines
Strong data analysis skills that help drive key business decisions.
Demonstrate creativity to accomplish sales goals along with sales data analysis and reporting.
Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to foster and promote open exchange of ideas and knowledge.
