About the Role:

Due to an internal promotion DXC are now looking to hire a Practice Partner (Digital Strategy) with strong strategy and transformation planning skills, team leadership experience and proven capability in effectively engaging C-Suite stakeholders.

The successful applicant will have responsibility for leading part of DXC’s Digital Transformation practice. The roles of this team includes:

  • Selling and delivering Advisory consulting engagements

  • Evangelizing the DXC Vision for a Digital Enterprise

  • Pull-through of other DXC services

  • Developing Digital IP and Offerings

  • Collaborating with other DXC functions and international teams, including account management, sales, consulting and service delivery teams.

The role must collaborate closely with other areas of DXC including Account Management, Sales, Solution Delivery Teams, and the broader global consulting community. The role includes being a thought leader, team leadership and mentoring, leading proposal developing and pre-sales with CxO level clients, as well as overseeing delivery of strategy and planning consulting engagements.


  • Team leadership of a team of between 8 and 15 people.

  • Leadership of key sales opportunities and oversight of offering delivery, including senior stakeholder manager, quality assurance and governance.

  • Collaborate across DXC to obtain the best outcome for DXC and clients.

  • Work closely with DXC’s account management and sales community. Participate in pre-sales activities for Digital Strategy and Transformation planning advisory engagements, and driving demand and building pipeline for offerings.

  • Develop intellectual property and contribute to DXC’s global offering collateral.

  • Administration and governance of the team including resourcing and finances.

  • Play a key role in the senior leadership team of the broader Digital Transformation team.


Experience & Background:

  • Team Leadership

  • Profit Centre and Cost Centre management

  • Proven experience delivering strategy and transformation planning projects

  • Strong background and experience in digital, strategy, customer/employee experience, data analytics strategy and Innovation. Experience with emerging trends and technologies.

  • Business Development / Sales experience

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills (upwards and downwards)

  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholder groups including senior management, clients and peers

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Security clearance preferred but not mandatory. Ability to obtain clearance to BASELINE is mandatory (Australian Citizen, no criminal record).
