Your key responsibilities
You will primarily be responsible for conducting Compliance Plan and Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) Audits for Financial Services (FS) Clients within the Assurance service line of the Financial Services Office, as well as Compliance Advisory work for both FS and non FS Clients.

An ability to identify improvement opportunities in respect of controls, processes and procedures
A motivation for monitoring the work of other team members and coaching them to enhance their performance
Strong client/stakeholder relationship management skills
A collaborative approach to your work with an ability to work with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
A high attention to detail in process documentation
To qualify for the role you must have
A compliance background ideally in the financial services sector
Specific knowledge of the compliance and regulatory requirements of the funds management industry will be highly regarded
A strong academic record, including completed tertiary studies
Proven track record with developing and maintaining client relationships
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in conducting audits of the Compliance Plans and AFSLs in accordance with relevant standards
