VMware Software Developer in Test - End User Computing in Sydney, Australia
The VMware End User Computing team is looking for a full-time Software Developer in Test to help drive the evolution of our next-generation Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform.

In that case you would be an ideal addition to our team as you will get to work on meaningful problems, develop products for cloud scale, tackle interesting challenges, and implement self-healing systems. Our products are undergoing rapid change, and most of your work will be on new code using some of the most current frameworks and libraries. As a key team member you will be instrumental as we build extraordinary products and architecturally-sound systems that are aligned with our business needs.
As a member of our team you will develop and improve the Automation and Orchestration products working closely with other specialists and product managers in our organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Taking the initiative to improve our products, tools, and processes by taking into account the global goals of the company
Setup and ownership of our internal lab environments
Download, configure and maintain new Microsoft operating systems as they are released
Work closely with the Development teams and Product Management to ensure test coverage to ensure a high quality product
Deep understanding of core computer science fundamentals as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, distributed systems, and multi-threaded programming
Ability to work fully independently on assignments as well as a part of a distributed team
Flexibility in learning new programming languages, frameworks, and tools
Experience with at least one programming language such as C# (preferred), Java, C/C++, etc.
Proven 6+ years experience in building automated testing frameworks
Extensive experience with large relational databases, T-SQL and writing high performing complex queries
Experience in Enterprise Software Testing
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with Win32 applications
Track record in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience in Performance and scale testing
Experience in Microsoft SCCM for managing windows 10 devices is a plus
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Good command of English
